Submit a work

Yours or someone else's. If it's someone else's, we'll write to them before it goes in — we don't publish without permission.

The artist's own post if you can find it — not the repost you saw.

We read everything. We reply to about half, honestly.

Pitch a story

We commission from writers, artists and people who just noticed something. Rates are on the low side of fair and we say so up front: £250 for a short piece, £600 for a reported one.

Optional. We've commissioned people with nothing to show before.

Pitches get an answer within two weeks, yes or no.

Correct a credit

If we've named the wrong person, missed a collaborator, or run your work without asking — this is the fastest way to reach us. Corrections go to the top of the queue and we fix them on the page with a dated note.

Takedowns are unconditional. We don't ask for a reason.
